Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Due to Weather or Operational Reasons

  • In cases of bad weather, typhoons, flight cancellations, strong winds, or an insufficient number of participants, the boat tour may be cancelled.
  • In such cases, the dive may be cancelled or changed to a beach entry dive.
  • No cancellation fee will be charged if the cancellation is due to these reasons.

Cancellation by Customer

  • From 8 days before the dive date, a cancellation fee of 10,000 JPY will apply.

Flying After Diving

To prevent decompression sickness, you must not fly on the same day after diving.

Please schedule your return flight for the following day, allowing at least 18–24 hours after your last dive before boarding a flight.

Diving on your arrival day is permitted.

Payment

Payment can be made by credit card or in Japanese yen (cash).

Pickup Time

Please be ready in front of your hotel 5 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Morning pickups are conducted at 5- to 10-minute intervals, so if one person is late, it may delay the entire group. In most cases, the pickup may arrive slightly earlier than scheduled, so we appreciate your cooperation.

If you are not visible at the scheduled time, do not come out of the hotel, or cannot be reached by phone, it will be treated as a same-day cancellation.

Pickup Areas

We can provide pickup service within Naha city. However, if your hotel is located far from the city center, pickup may not be available.

About the Dive Sites

We usually dive at locations with calm sea conditions and little wind. However, in cases of strong winds or rough seas when we cannot choose different dive sites, we may do consecutive dives at the same location. Thank you for your understanding.

Personal Belongings

Please take care of your personal items during the tour. While there has never been any theft on our boats, we ask that you manage your valuables yourself.

About the Boat

For diving in Okinawa, you will be boarding a boat similar to the one shown in the photo below.

We will explain how to use the boat on the day of the tour, but please take a look at the information beforehand so you know what to expect.

Manners

Please note that divers and snorkelers from other dive centers will also be on board the boat.

We kindly ask all guests to be considerate of others and observe basic courtesy and good manners while on board, so that everyone can enjoy a comfortable and pleasant day at sea.

Toilet

There is a toilet on the boat. The flushing system varies depending on the boat, so we will explain how to use it on the day of the tour.

Please do not flush toilet paper down the toilet, as the wastewater is discharged directly into the sea. Instead, place used toilet paper in the designated bin provided.

Seasickness

If you feel seasick and need to vomit, please do not stay in the toilet for an extended period.

Instead, please go to the back of the boat and vomit into the sea, or use a plastic bag if one is available.

Shower

Warm freshwater showers are available on the boat.

However, the amount of water in the tank is limited, so please be mindful of water usage and help conserve water whenever possible.

Drinks

Water and tea are usually provided on the boat.

However, in some rare cases they may not be available, so we recommend that you bring your own drinks just in case.

Smoking

Smoking areas on the boat may vary depending on the vessel.

If you wish to smoke, please check with the staff on board to confirm the designated smoking area before doing so.

About Diving

The dive procedures will be explained by your guide on the day of the tour.

However, we have outlined some basic information below for your reference in advance.

Entry

ntry will be made from the back of the boat. After entering the water, we will gather at the surface. Once everyone is ready and confirmed, we will begin the descent together.

A descent line (rope) is available, so you may use it if needed to assist your descent.

Exit

Before returning to the boat, we will perform a safety stop at around 5 meters depth.

If you do not have a dive computer, please follow your guide and stay at the same depth during the safety stop.

After completing the safety stop, please remove your fins before climbing back onto the boat.

Dive Time and Air Pressure

The dive time is approximately 40 minutes. Please inform your guide once your remaining air pressure reaches 100 bar.

As a general rule, we will end the dive and return to the boat before your air pressure drops below 40 bar.

In Case of Trouble

If you notice anything unusual underwater, please inform your guide immediately.

Do not make a rapid emergency ascent or surface on your own without communicating with your guide first.

Stay Close to Your Guide

During the dive, please stay close to your guide at all times.

If you drift too far behind, you may lose sight of the guide, especially when changing direction, which can lead to separation from the group.

Do Not Ascend Rapidly

During the dive, please avoid making rapid ascents at all times.

There may be boats passing on the surface, so ascending too quickly can be very dangerous. Please always ascend slowly and safely while maintaining awareness of your surroundings.
